Woodcroft Architectural Review Board

The Woodcroft Architectural Review Board (ARB) is comprised of volunteers from within the Woodcroft community. It is charged with maintaining the desirability of Woodcroft to potential buyers by reviewing and approving proposed changes to the exteriors of individual properties.

The current ARB members are Justin Bagby, Meghan Rice, Al Zaranka, Mike Cashion, Kelly Sullivan, Candace Johnson and Sean Stoneham.

The Approval Process

If you are planning to change the exterior appearance of your home by painting, removing a tree, rebuilding a deck or any other project, first read the ARB guidelines. They will assist you in knowing how to proceed and if you will need to submit an ARB application. This is also true for commercial properties in Woodcroft as well as Home Owner Associations.

Once you decide that your project needs approval from the ARB, complete the ARB application form. You will need to make 9 copies of your application and include applicable attachments with each (e.g., paint samples, blue prints, plat plans). Bring or mail your completed copies to the Woodcroft office. A copy will go to each of the seven ARB members, one to the WCA Board representative, and one to your permanent file.

If you live in Reveres Run, Heritage Woods, Cross Timbers, Seven Oaks, Woodwinds, Legacy Place, Homeplace, Parsons Chase or Chimney Ridge you may also be required to submit an application to your neighborhood association. Call your property management company to find out what the appropriate procedure is for your community.

Finally, please check the ARB Meeting schedule for submission deadlines and meeting dates. The ARB must receive your application by the scheduled deadline in order to be able to visit and review your property. By submitting your application, you are giving permission for the ARB members to enter your yard to evaluate your proposed changes.

Meetings, Agenda, and Approvals

The ARB meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM in the Woodcroft Professional Building Community Room. If the timing of your approval is important, you may want to attend the meeting for a few minutes to answer any questions the ARB might have. You may call the Woodcroft office on the Wednesday morning after the meeting to find out if your application is approved. You will receive a letter of approval from the office within a few days.
